This path of mine began when I was 16. For my Sweet 16, I wanted to go all out. My mom and I ordered a cake from a bakery and went through the whole process—sitting down, talking through every detail, and sharing exactly what we envisioned. When the day came to pick it up, it wasn’t what I had hoped for. There wasn’t time for it to be redone, so we took it home—and I cried in the car the entire way.

Since then, I’ve made it my mission to never let anyone walk away with a product that makes them cry in the car.
